Scientists are so interested in Antarctica becuase it has amazing wild life and to see what humans are doing to affect the way Antarctuca is changing. Scientists are going to and from Antarctica to see how long humans can live n the hostile enviernment. They are amazed in how large Antarctica is and how beautiful this cold and icey place is.
Scientiffic Research Stations
flags from different countries that own parts of Antactica
There are about 21 scientiffic research stations in Antartica.they are owned by
- Commandante Ferraz (Brazil)
- Henryk Arctowski (poland)
- Artigas (Uruguary)
- Teniente Jubany (Argentina)
- Esperanza (Argentina)
- Bellingshausen (Russia)
- Great Wall (China)
- King Sejong (Korea)
- General Berado O'Higgins (Chile) and many more.
The Main Areas they sudy,
Antarctica's basses
- Astronomy: they study the processes of the stars and planetary systems form from dust clouds
Atmospheric Sciences: they study climate change
Biology: the sudy of wide range of terrestrail and marine. they look at habitats, survial, conservation and the role of animals and plants.
Antarctic Marine Living Research:
Cosmic Raqy Physics: the sudy of the suns magnetic field and solar wind or flares.
Geosciences: the study of the way Antarctica was formed
Glaciology: the sudy of the history of the earth
Human Biology and Medicine: the study of the changes of humans in Antarctica
Human Impacts: the study of the ways humans are impacting on Antarctica
My recommendation is for scientists to continue working in Anstactica but to cut down on how many people they take there for scientiffic reseach or touisem. I think they should also go back to using huskies in sted of using snowcats that use petral and pollutes the Antartic envirnment
